Andy, Stevie and I took off on Christmas Night to Launceston to begin our Tasmanian wilderness experience. We had 6 days of pure bliss seeing much of the beauty and ruggedness of Tassie's north and east coast. The highlight of the trip was the walk to the lookout over Wineglass Bay which took us about 1-1/2 hours return. The downside of the trip was that Andy got sick the last 3 days and ended up going to Launceston Hospital to be diagnosed with tonsilitis. He is all better now and it gives us another excuse to go visit Tassie to finish off the bits we missed - Hobart, West Coast, and Launceston.
